Executive Board Meeting Minutes 4/20/2010

The meeting was attended by David Sparkman, Steve Page, Bob Maier, Andy Valentine, and Sam Weiland. The meeting was called to order by Andy Valentine and Bob Maier, Rally Chair was introduced. The Executive Board was updated on the rally. Pre-registration was good for out of town attendees but our local club has only signed up 7 members at the time of the meeting. Door Prizes were slow coming in and Andy, Bob and Steve committed to making some calls to see if we could generate some more prizes. Bob introduced the schedule for the rally and the tech sessions to be held Saturday. Proposed was a tech session on using the GPS and a tech Session on planning an overseas motorcycle trip and a session on changing tires and the question was raised about the possibility of having the new tire changing equipment available to demonstrate at the tech session. Steve Page introduced a motion to buy the equipment in time for the rally. It was seconded by Sam Weiland and passed by voice vote after a discussion on the liability and logistics of owning such equipment. Bob passed out the schedules for the rally and the meeting was adjourned.--Andy Valentine
